Heat Wave!

In case you’re wondering, Oh Best Beloved, yes, we still have snow. This is the view from inside our car, as you look straight out at the snow piled in our front lawn. The streets are piled every bit as as high, making driving an adventure. Especially when you come to corners and can’t see a dang thing. It makes for driving that’s at times… well, stimulating, particularly if you’re into adrenalin rushes and near-death experiences.
The forecast is for 40F temperatures tomorrow.
Whoo Hoo!! The snow’s days are numbered!
The roads were finally clear into one of our favorite state parks yesterday, so we had a chance to watch a gorgeous sunset.

The icing on the cake?

Three deer came out to watch, too.
It was wonderful.

I’ve enjoyed having so many days with frosty icing on the trees, but it’s time for The Great Melt…Hey, I think I see my roofline!
Nice pictures of classic Wisconsin winterscape Judy! Is that Winnebago?
Judy, how beautifully idyllic those last 2 pictures are. Made me take a deep breath and sigh with happiness…
That first picture - notsomuch.
Hey Dan, I think I see your roofline too!! Good guess, btw - it’s the view from the marina at Winnebago. It’s been so iced in you can’t go down to the marina, or up to the campgrounds, either. Perfect for you to go out with Rudy and do a little skijoring right down that incredibly steep access road hill! You know which hill… the hill that’s posted ‘no rollerblading’ due to your actions, as I recall?
Kris - LOL! Yeah, that first picture ’tain’t so idyllic, is it?
Oh how wonderful to have your wild friends come so close to say hello. Thanks for sharing such wonderful pictures.
Happy Easter to you!
