Requiem

One year ago today my sister died in an automobile accident.
Last week, someone asked me what I say nowadays when people want to know how many sisters I have.
The answer is easy.
I have the same number of sisters I’ve always had: three.
Two still live in the State where I grew up.
One lives in my heart.

Death, the great equiliser I think. I am so sorry for your loss. My grandfather who raised me died in December and it remains overwhelming sometimes…

Thanks, W – and so sorry to hear of your loss. It does indeed get overwhelming sometimes.

So sorry for your loss. If they live in the hearts of those they left behind they live forever.

I truly do believe that as long as there is someone around who remembers or knows about a person, then that person continues to “live”.
You’ve told us all about Dorothy – and she will remain in our hearts and minds as well.

Always remember. I like the memorial, it’s very pretty.

Thanks, Kris, Dan and Sarah. I thought the memorial setup was really pretty too, Dan.
