It’s Time To Put On A Sweater!
When the weather service says the temperature will be “bitter cold,” this is what it means:

It’s supposed to drop another 4 degrees before morning.
I think I’ll go heat up a mug of toasty warm milk.

Check out the weather in Fairbanks, Alaska!
Now does that make any sense?

Lemme see… right now it’s -6F here, and in Fairbanks, Alaska it is… 19F with an expected high of 35F?!
It isn’t faaiir…
*sounds of tantrum ensue*
Oh. No – wait. On Thursday Fairbanks will have a high of -15F and a low of -30F. Awww – too bad…
Those Alaskans had just better learn how to keep their nasty extreme weather up there, in the future – or else!
(Or else we send them frozen milk, perhaps? Hmm… or else Wisconsinites invades Alaska armed with wedges of cheese to fling at the population? Dang. I think my threats need a little work!)

Okay… that has gotta hurt. I keep telling myself that the only way to appreciate the fruits of spring and summer is to weather through the cold biter winter. Spring should be awesome this year!

Sarah – I’m a little fearful, given the trend, that spring will bring locusts!

I guess we will have to wait and see. I am looking forward to wandering through your summer garden again this year.
